Supply Chain Optimization for a medical devices manufacturer

A global Medical Devices manufacturer was rolling out a new Supply Chain Management system, but was facing pushback from their Asian offices. HQ needed the system in place globally in order to deliver on their anticipated cost savings and have the necessary foundation for their future plans.

In addition to understanding the new systems rollouts goals and objectives at the European HQ , we activated local consultants in each region as part of a global team to go in and understand local concerns about the new system in the local language and with local market knowledge. This revealed gaps in the new system in the predefined processes, in data storage, integrations with local platforms technologies, and in training and rollout procedures. Our team then built technical solutions for data migration and integrations, business solutions for leadership and users via updated workflow processes, and implementation solutions for ensuring proper training and a successful rollout.

The Asian region, despite starting after other regions, ended up being fully migrated to the new Supply Chain Management system ahead of most other global rollouts, and the technical, business, and implementation solutions built were leveraged by the manufacturer in other regions to ensure global success.
